Python Job: Software Engineer Intern (Zürich)

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

The following illustrates some of the projects that you could be working on:

• Dive into the latest research on building safe and reliable machine learning systems.

• Push the relevant research further to create tangible value for companies building the most visionary computer vision systems.
• Design and implement novel solutions to efficiently test, validate, and productionize systems.
• Scale our existing software stack to serve the most demanding use-cases.

About you:

None of these are strict requirements but do illustrate what type of people would be most effective at Lakera right now. Ideally you:

• are interested in the challenges of taking computer vision to the most challenging applications.

• are familiar with Python and ML development libraries (PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc);
• have a track record of developing world-class research in ML, Statistics, or Data Science more broadly;
• enjoy working on a wide range of algorithmic problems and designing efficient software systems;
• have an eye for pragmatism, enjoy taking ownership, being hands-on, and getting things done while being mindful of our longer-term vision;
• are excited about a front-row seat in a fast-growing, early-stage company (a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environment);
• have an interest in AI safety, ethics & regulations.
• Available to start your internship from March 2023
• Ideally, interested in a 6 months internship period
